Factory Subaru Air Filters
Shop Air Filters at Subaru Parts Quick in Conway SC
It's that time again. Your Subaru vehicle just hit another 12,000 miles, maybe 15,000, since its last air filter replacement. It's time to buy new ones online.
Seems like both filters are clogged, actually -- obvious from the dirty, degraded fibers. Maybe the Check Engine light's lit, or you're starting to have trouble accelerating. Perhaps you've even noticed that your fuel economy isn't as good as it used to be, that engine problems are popping up, or that black smoke is coming out of the exhaust. One thing's for sure: your interior smells like it could use a cleaning.
At any rate, we've got just the set of new air filters you've been searching for. Shop with us, and you'll see why we're a top choice of online Subaru parts store, and not just for lovers of the brand's cars and SUVs around Myrtle Beach, either. Those throughout coastal South Carolina and all over the US, too.
Why Order Subaru Air Filters from Us?
Put simply, Subaru manufactures them, so they'll be up to the standards you've come to expect from the brand. They'll also just plain fit and work like the air filters your ride got from the factory. Finally, they're priced lower than MSRP, much of the time, and if you run into any defects in materials or workmanship with one, Subaru can take care of things. You won't find better quality in aftermarket air filters, you won't find better prices at most Subaru dealers, and you won't get better support from off-brands.

Air Filters 101
What they do. Air filters capture airborne contaminants -- road debris, insects, dust, pollen, and the like. Most Subaru models have two. One is for the engine and the other is for the cabin. The engine air filter keeps pollutants out of the air intake and away from the rest of the engine, while the cabin air filter keeps them out of the ducts and vents and away from the rest of the car heating and AC systems.
Their features. An air filter can come in various shapes. Some are flat-panel; others are circular or even cylindrical. The fibers that make up air filter media can be synthetic paper, foam, cotton, metal, or another material. They're also usually pleated to be able to capture particulate better.
How to replace them. It's easy. First, find their housings: the cabin filter housing is usually behind the glove compartment, while the engine filter housing is going to be under the hood. Then, take each of the old filters out and put the new ones in. When in doubt, check your owner's manual; it'll have further info on air filter maintenance.
